Staff Spotlight: Kedma Cantor

Even if you don’t get back to our preschool very often, you have likely seen Kedma Cantor offering challah baking workshops, hanging out by the pool with her kids, or even upstairs at the gym. Jewish Festival and Open House draws hundreds!

The heat didn’t bother anyone at the Alpert JCC Jewish Festival held on Sunday, June 25, 2017; they were having too much fun! The Alpert JCC was abuzz with activity and the sounds of laughter and excitement as young and old alike enjoyed samplings of our Jewish traditions: matzah ball soup, lox and bagels, kugel, Jewish gifts and jewelry, and even Israeli dancing. In addition, Rabbi Engel taught the traditional practice of tefillin wrapping (quite educational!), and Kedma Cantor, the J’s Assistant Director of Operations for ECE (see blog entry), taught the art of challah making...
