A parent participation class with something extra
Parents enjoy playing with their child for the first hour and then leave them in the nurturing care of experienced ECE staff.  Children learn through guided group play, participating in music, rhythm, stories, dramatic play and other hands-on activities.  Emphasis on social skills and development, providing a great transition into preschool!

Progressive Preschool (Must be 2 years old by start of program)
Tuesday & Thursday
9:30am-12:30pm (Fall Semester)
9:00am—1:00pm (Spring Semester)
This new program begins with our traditional Moving On class and progresses into a 2-day preschool program for the spring semester. During the fall semester, the parents will participate in the first hour of the class, from 9:30-10:30. This approach helps parents engage with their children while taking advantage of each child’s natural curiosity and need for exploration. After the parents leave, the teacher will continue to develop each child’s educational and life skills through art, manipulatives, and social interactions. During the spring semester, this class will progress into a traditional preschool classroom (extending the child’s classroom time from 3 to 4 hours, and transitioning out the parent/child portion.)
