CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Low Impact / Strength Training

Aqua Fitness: A low-impact aerobics class performed to music in our heated pool. All levels suitable.

Low-n-Sculpt & Low Impact Fitness: Get the best of both worlds in this Low Impact aerobics class by combining 30 minutes of Cardio with 30 minutes of resistance exercises using hand-held weights and rubberized tubing.

Strength Circuit Training: This class focuses on total body muscle strength using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and your own body weight as resistance. All levels welcome.

SilverSneakers®: Classic: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises muscular strength and range of movement. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered. A chair is used for support.

SilverSneakers®: Circuit: Increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball is alternated with nonimpact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support.

Spinning (in order of difficulty)

SPINNING® 101: A group cycle class geared to the new rider combining, bike setup, basic cycling movements, breathing, and cardiovascular training.

Pump & Pedal: This workout combines 20-30 minutes of indoor cycling to improve your cardiovascular fitness level with 20-30 minutes of strength training exercises to increase muscle tone and strength.

Straight Up Spin: An indoor cycling workout riding to the rhythm of powerful music. Join your inspiring instructor who will lead you through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training.

SPINNING® Extreme: Indoor cycling training at a more intense level! This no frills course is best for veteran Spinners!

IF YOU’RE NEW TO SPIN: Please plan to arrive a few minutes prior to class start time in order for the instructor to assist you in bike setup.

Cardio

Total Body Fusion: Combo class incorporating kickboxing, Pilates, and other cardio exercise plus sculpt every muscle in your body using hand-held weights and elastic tubing with handles with this heart-pumping, innovative class!

FitFast!Challenge yourself to a high intensity 30 minute workout! Burn fat, gain strength, be home in time for dinner! 

Core Strengthening

BodyBlitz: Maximize your workout with 30 minutes strength, core, & flexibility for a very efficient and total body workout.

Mat Fitness 101: Core, strength and flexibility, this program accommodates all levels of fitness, but is a perfect class for the beginner.

Core Fitness on the Ball: This fun and challenging class incorporates all components of fitness: cardio/low impact, resistance training, balance and flexibility; providing participants with the ultimate total body workout experience!

Pilates Essentials: A blend of yoga, Pilates & fitness that increases your core strength and flexibility.

Pilates Extreme: Your favorite Pilates class at a new extreme, based on holding poses and building stamina.

Yoga

Mind / Body Movement: Discover new pleasure centers as you find alignment, release stress, reawaken muscles and build strength. Blends yoga poses and dance moves for a full-body workout that is deceptively gentle and highly effective.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga: A medium-paced class for all levels, designed to improve flexibility and strength while providing stress-relief. This practice uses postures in a flowing manner, connecting each posture with a breath.

Gentle Yoga: Designed to accommodate all levels, including seniors.

Qigong / Tai Chi: This class builds gentle strength, balance, and mobility in the entire body, mind, and energy systems of the body.

SilverSneakers® Yoga: Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Dance for Fitness!

Latin Grooves: Latin dance styles to help tone and sculpt the body.

Zumba®: This rhythmic Latin flavored experience will tone you, sculpt you, and invigorate you for life.

ZUMBA® Gold: Less intense than a traditional Zumba Basic class. We use the same music but choreograph different moves. It is designed for older active adults 50+, or for people with health difficulties or recuperating from surgery and just getting back into exercise.

BarreBlitzBallet barre-based exercises that use dance movement and body weight to lengthen and strengthen muscles while raising the heart rate for a cardio workout. No jumping required! No dance experience or extreme flexibility required. A great full-body workout that is low impact but high intensity. Great for men and women.

H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training)

H.I.I.T. on the Step:
An interval step workout to create an entertaining experience that offers excellent, time-efficient results, along with improvements in strength, endurance, body composition, mobility and the A-B-Cs of fitness: agility, balance and coordination.

H.I.I.T. Tabata Style workout
This workout alternates moderate-intensity intervals with higher-intensity bouts of the same exercise. Three intensity options allow people of different fitness levels to start at different points, while still having a way to progress the pattern.
