Discussion: Includes theory and purposes, some forms and approaches for gaining awareness and expanding perceptions, and the application and results.

At the end of this workshop you will have:
• a better idea of what is and is not meditation
• how it differs in the East and West and why
• at least 2 ways you can incorporate meditation practices into your daily life
• a new perspective on how your inner environment affects the world around you and how you show up in your life
• a chance to connect to your true self
Continue with the Meditation Series
Upon completion of the introductory workshop, you will have the opportunity to
register for the weekly meditation series to deepen and direct your practice to what you desire most to bring into your life.
Taught By Del Leon: Professionally teaching and leading yoga and movement classes since 2008, Del enjoys sharing her findings of meditation and mindfulness practices with compassion, humor, and curiosity. She has earned an Advanced 500hr Yoga Teacher Training Certificate in India and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Modern Dance and Choreography from CSULB.
Please bring a pen or pencil, a notepad or notebook for manually writing notes, and something soft but firm (pillow, thick towel, blanket) to elevate your hips if you choose to sit on the floor, instead of a chair, for the meditation(s).
