This brand-new Alpert JCC Summer Fitness Series is a collection of drop-in classes open to both Members and Non-Members! Explore new class offerings, like our Aqua Strength series, or enjoy longer versions of one of our classics, like Qigong/Tai Chi.
Don’t have time for a workout during your busy week? Try one of our convenient Saturday classes! From Vinyasa Yoga to HIIT, Aqua Strength to Country Western Dancing, this summer, there’s something for everyone!
SUMMER FITNESS SERIES - CLASS SCHEDULE
EVERY SATURDAY IN AUGUST, (STARTS AUG. 3RD) 8 AM–9 AM
This class is geared towards those who are athletes, tri-athletes, police, swat, fire, military, those who are training for long endurance events and anyone who needs to be challenged within their peak performance and personal best.

EVERY MONDAY IN AUGUST, (STARTS AUG. 5TH) 7:15 PM–8:30 PM
Your Meditation classes are in several parts: Discussion, Movement, Breath Work, and Meditation Practice. Learn about different types of meditation and how to incorporate it into your daily life. Please bring a pen or pencil, notebook, and something soft but firm to sit on should you choose to sit on the floor instead of a chair for the meditation. Instructor: Del Leon MVP: $25 Non-Member: $27
EVERY WEDNESDAY, (STARTS AUG. 7TH) 5 PM–7 PM
Interested in cycling? Preparing for a race? Join us for our new Cycling Clinic! Learn bike safety, skill training, bike repairs, and gain access to discounts on bike supplies. The class will be 15-20 miles long through the San Gabriel bike trail and El Dorado Park. Water and snacks will be provided. This class will be continuing throughout the year. Class meets at Marina Dr. and 2nd St.

LINE DANCE-BEGINNER BASICS
SATURDAY, AUGUST 24, 10 AM–12 PM
Learn basic steps and a few classic dances no more than 32 steps in length. After some time to practice, we’ll end with an hour-long dance party! Great for newcomers or those who want to come back to dance after taking time off, this class requires no partner or previous experience.
