Parent/Child Participation Classes
Parent/Child Participation Classes offer friends, fun & learning in a welcoming Jewish atmosphere for families with children from birth through toddler. Three different classes -- find the right one for you and your baby or toddler!
From the Beginning: newborn through walking, with an adult This is a FREE Class -- Call for schedule Begin your new life with us at the Alpert JCC. Facilitated by caring and experienced Early Childhood Education staff, this group for new mothers and their infants will help you discover the joys and face the challenges that are part of transitioning your family when a new baby arrives, whether it's your first or your fourth!
Yad b'Yad (Hand in Hand): 9-23 months, with an adult Tuesday or Thursday, 9:15Am - 10:45AM; meeting day is determined by the age of your baby Development and discover through experiential, hands-on learning, including music, arts & crafts, manipulatives, table and playground time; a great way to make friends you and your family will keep for a lifetime.
Moving On: 18-28 months with an adult Tuesday & Thursday, 9:30AM - 12:30PM A parent participation class with something extra. Parents enjoy playing with their child for the first hour, and then leave them in the nurturing care of experienced ECE staff. Children learn through guided group play, participating in music, rhythm, stories, dramatic play and other hands-on activities. Emphasis on social skills and development. Provides a great transition into preschool!
