A three-year-old's typical day is guaranteed to be filled with lots of activities involving social interactions, cooperative skills and pretend play.
At the Alpert JCC, a three-year-old's typical day includes:
- building blocks
- dramatic play
- creative art
- sensory exploration
- playground time
- structured teacher-led circle time focusing on literacy, early math skills, and discussion
Three-year-old children are very interested in group play and imaginative games. Because many classroom activities involve children working together, specific attention is given to supporting children through the peer problem-solving process as well as encouraging children to creatively problem solve their "work"-related challenges.
The three-year-old curriculim also includes Jewish learning, focusing on holidays, traditions, and values. Children also participate weekly in our exciting Movement & Music program.
